Manager, Field Analytics
As part of Okta’s Go-To-Market Strategy & Operations group, the Field Analytics team is the primary engine for strategic analysis, enabling our leaders to make evidence-based decisions that determine the trajectory of Okta’s growth.
We are looking for a Manager, Field Analytics to lead our newly established analytics delivery team in India. Reporting to the Director of Field Analytics, you will be responsible for building and managing a high-performing team of analysts focused on dashboarding, data architecture, and operational documentation. Your mission is to scale our global analytics engine by combining technical rigor with emerging AI capabilities to drive GTM efficiency.
Impact & Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership & Mentorship: Hire, lead, and develop a team of India-based analysts, fostering a culture of technical excellence, accountability, and continuous learning.
- Global Analytics Delivery: Own the end-to-end production of high-visibility Tableau dashboards and the creation of standardized GTM data sets in Snowflake to support global field leaders.
- Documentation & Data Governance: Drive the strategy for comprehensive data documentation and metric definitions, ensuring a "single source of truth" across our Salesforce and Snowflake ecosystems.
- AI Tooling & Automation: Champion the integration of Generative AI (e.g., Gemini, ChatGPT) and automation into the team's workflow to accelerate SQL generation, automate reporting, and enhance data discoverability.
- Stakeholder Orchestration: Partner with US-based leadership to align delivery roadmaps, ensuring the India team’s outputs meet the evolving needs of the global GTM organization.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 8+ years in data analytics or sales operations, with at least 2 years in a people management or team lead role within a global delivery environment.
- Technical Stack Expertise in SQL (Snowflake), BI Visualization tool (Tableau), and CRM data (Salesforce)
- Practical experience using or implementing AI-based workflows (e.g., prompt engineering for data analysis, automating data pipelines) to improve team efficiency.
- Deep understanding of enterprise software sales processes, field operations, and cross functional GTM mechanics.
- Exceptional ability to distill technical findings into clear, strategic narratives for non-technical senior executives.
- A relentless curiosity and a desire to "build it and own it," working both independently and collaboratively across a global team.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple high-priority deliverables across different time zones.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the Identity or Cybersecurity industry.
- Proficiency with scripting languages (Python) and modern data modeling frameworks (dbt).
- Experience building or deploying statistical modeling and predictive analytics solutions.
