Job Description

Labcorp is seeking a California, US based remote Software Quality Assurance Analyst III to join our team.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Follow established processes, SOPs and testing methods throughout the software lifecycle while continuously driving quality into the overall work process.
  • Collaborate with various IT entities such as the Business Analysts, Development, Support, Project Management, etc. as dictated by the task or project deliverable.
  • Use defined business or product requirements documentation to perform the appropriate test validation to ensure the proper implementation of key functionalities.
  • Create and/or review test plans or test summary documentation outlining the test approach and test outcomes of the test execution.
  • Create test cases and scenarios to perform the appropriate test validation based on the defined requirements documents.
  • Provide testing updates and metrics based on the test execution process.
  • Serve as a conduit between the IT entities and the business community (internal or external customers) to ensure alignment on test executions and processes.
  • Organize and manage assigned tasks, provide project estimations and perform risk assessments and planning based on the work assignment.
  • Provide peer support, Production support during normal or off-hour timeframes.
  • Self-manage with the ability to control the analysis and quality processes throughout the software lifecycle while continuously driving quality into the overall work process.
  • Analyze complex processes and develop logical conclusions and approach in order to implement effective solutions.
  • Understand software testing methodologies, use of software tools for artifact creation and management and different testing types

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in technical, information systems or clinical/business related field. 
  • 5 years experience as a software quality analyst with experience using software quality tools to facilitate testing or hands-on lab experience with respective lab systems.
  • 5 years Experience testing or using Mainframe, Web-based, .NET, VB, middleware components, API/services and other development technologies.
  • 5 years Experience with Software Tools: Artifact and Defect Management Tools: HP Quality Center/ALM, Microsoft TFS, JIRA/Zephyr, Confluence
  • 5 years Experience with various lifecycle methodologies: Waterfall, Agile and testing methods: Functional, Integration, System, User Acceptance, Usability
  • 5 years experience with Clinical content & file formats: Health Level 7 (HL7), FHIR, JSON
  • 5 years experience with various lifecycle and testing methodologies: Waterfall, Agile, Integration, System, User Acceptance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Current or previous labcorp experience
  • 1 year Laboratory experience working with LIMS systems.
  • 1 year Knowledge of HIPAA and other regulatory compliance policies desirable
  • 1 year Clinical Healthcare experience

 

 

Application Window: 3/30-4/1

Pay Range: $115,000 to $120,000 annually

All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data. .

Benefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan. Employees who are regularly scheduled to work a 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible to receive all the foregoing benefits except PTO or FTO.
