A Day in the Life

As an Intern, you will work at the intersection of business teams and the Event and Learning Management team, supporting business operations and assisting in the planning and execution of learning and event activities.

This role offers a unique opportunity to understand how a global healthcare company operates, how medical events are managed in line with compliance standards, and how business decisions and education initiatives contribute to better outcomes for patients.

Your impact will be visible through stronger coordination between teams and reliable business support, helping ensure that commercial and learning initiatives are delivered efficiently.
 

Internship details: 
•    Start date: May 2026
•    Location: Zagreb, Croatia
•    Duration: 12 months
•    Working hours: 40 hours per week
•    Work model: hybrid (3 days in the office)

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
• Support collaboration between business teams and the Event and Learning Management team, including planning, coordination, and follow up of internal and external learning and event activities
• Prepare, collect, and track event documentation in line with compliance requirements, and support post-event activities including documentation collection and basic reporting
• Assist business teams with reports, presentations, and day to day operational tasks
• Collaborate with therapy specialists and commercial teams to support ongoing initiatives and track timelines, actions, and approvals related to events and business activities
• Gain exposure to different therapy areas and learn how Medtronic technologies impact patient care

Required Knowledge and Skills:
• Recently graduated or in the final year of studies
• Fluency in English and Croatian, with strong communication skills
• Good knowledge of MS Office and digital tools and systems
• Interest in healthcare, business operations, or event management, combined with curiosity and a willingness to learn
• Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders and manage priorities
 

Would be a plus:
• Degree in Business, Economics, Healthcare, or Life Sciences
• Interest in compliance driven environment
• Willingness to learn about medical technologies and patient impact
