Position Summary
Description & Requirements
The Specialist – Digital Transformation (Developer) will be responsible for Development / re-development, implementation, and maintenance of automations strategies. This resource will work alongside Testing Operations, Process Owners, and Process SMEs to understand existing task Logic, document creation, eliminations of bugs, management of proper error handling and metrics that will indicate the success of the initiative.
Technical Competence:
- Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts and tools for control testing and monitoring.
- Design develop and maintain various analytics and risk monitoring dashboards working with different tools.
- Integrate automation solutions with existing ERP, GRC, or audit management systems.
- Ensure data accuracy, security, and compliance in automated processes.
- Troubleshoot and optimize automation workflows for reliability and scalability.
- Stay current with automation & database technologies (e.g., RPA, scripting languages, process mining).
- Significant process automation experience driving large, complex automations to successful completion in a global environment.
- Must have completed at least 5 big end to end activities.
- Quick to identify risks and develop mitigation plans.
- Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution capability.
- History of successfully delivering results in a global, cross-functional environment
- Strong business acumen and curiosity.
- Experience in designing SOPs , Technical Design Document and Test case documents for automation.
- Strong attention to detail and extensive thoughtfulness that can drive development of value cases, and track value realization.
Functional Competence:
- Collaborate with internal controls, audit, and business teams to identify automation opportunities.
- Translate control requirements into technical automation solutions.
- Document automated processes, controls, and exceptions for audit trails.
- Train internal stakeholders on using and maintaining automated controls.
- Monitor automated controls’ effectiveness and recommend improvements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or equivalent.
- 5-6 years of work experience in solutioning and development of automations using tools such as Audit board analytics, Signavio, Automation Anywhere 360 RPA Platform.
- Engagement Competencies: Clear written and oral communication skills, Open and able to drive change, Proactive, action- and result-oriented developer High-performing problem-solver, Strategic, critical thinker, High degree of passion for establishing a customer-oriented mindset, Knowledge of organizational operations, Significant alignment to a Automation with continuous improvement-oriented mindset
- Technological Competencies: extensive knowledge of current enabling technologies, and process automation technologies (like Python, VB Scripting, SQL Scripting etc)
- Problem solving, Solutioning Attitude, Communicating for Impact, strive to enable self – sustaining automations.
- Experience in Root cause analyses, Options Identification, and evaluation.
- Familiarity with SAP and Web based automations and other systems.
- Solid understanding of data analysis and visualization principles.
- Ability to troubleshoot and debug RPA issues efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy.
- Good understanding of data management and database principles.
- Experience in Power automate will be added advantage.
- Professional demeanor with ability to interact with all levels of management.
- Individual contributor with precedence to team targets and requirements.
- Strong yearning for learning and continuous improvement.
- Must be able to analyze data, draw conclusions, interpret results, and make recommendations with respect to accounting treatments.
- Must be able to communicate effectively in both an oral and written manner.
- Must be able to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to top management, external department heads, customers, clients, and other employees.
- Proven ability to work effectively with remote teams, to set realistic deadlines, and to effectively manage one’s own time and priorities to meet those deadlines including regular communication and updates with global team members.
- Be an energetic individual that is deadline driven, with the ability to maintain a positive attitude, embrace change and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- You should be able to work well under pressure and be accustomed to project work with tight deadlines.
- Strong project management, organizational and planning skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently.
