Senior Software Engineer/Sr. Analyst

Designs, develops, modifies, adapts and implements solutions to information technology needs through new and existing applications, systems architecture and applications infrastructure.

Reviews system requirements and business processes; codes, tests, debugs and implements software solutions.

Roles & Responsibilities :

As a Senior Software Engineer, your focus will be developing and implementing software solutions. Besides working closely with your colleagues in Mumbai you will also work closely with Nasdaq teams in other countries.

• Develop a green field automated platform towards Developer efficiency. Technology stack would be VMWare, Oracle Linux, Docker/Kubernetes, Java, Gradle/Groovy, Bash/Python, Git, JUnit/Mockito, Jenkins, Grafana/Prometheus/Loki, Postgres/Doris, Oracle cloud…

• Knowledge of engineering tools, such as Git, Jenkins, Maven/Gradle and Eclipse/Idea.

• Gradle, Java applications and Jenkins pipelines monitoring, configuration, and tuning.

• Good verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Excellent interpersonal and people communication skills.

We expect you to have:

• Proven 3-6years of experience working with Java development and code analysis with Code quality checks.

It would be phenomenal if you

• Kubernetes, JaCoCo/Sonar experience.

• Work experience in the banking/financial industry would be a plus.
