The pay range is $73,000.00 - $132,000.00

Roundel is Target’s entry into the media business, a sell-side retail media business built on the principles of first party (people based) data, brand safe environments and proof that our marketing programs drive business results for our clients. As a Marketing Ops Manager, you’ll work within the marketing operations function to manage content, assets, and vendor connection to support marketing campaigns and initiatives. This position, focused on project and event management, will entail project plan mapping, agency collaboration and logistical oversight.  You will drive key timelines and budget for marketing projects including ideation, planning and execution, serving as a hub for those marketing outputs. This role will work closely with cross-functional partners to ensure all elements of the projects are working in unison and communicated to key stakeholders.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Collaboration with Sr. Marketing Managers to manage operations of the team, including creative reviews, briefing sessions and annual planning.

  • Become an expert in—and evangelist for—our timelines, project management tools and internal processes.

  • Report on program performance, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.

  • Identifying and resolving issues, improving workflows, and suggesting solutions for bottlenecks.

  • Analyzing data, generating insights, and creating reports to track performance and inform decision-making.

About You:

  • Four-year degree in Marketing, Business or related field

  • 4+ years of retail or media experience

  • Experience with event activation and/or project management

  • Proactive and organized, with ability to manage multiple complex projects concurrently

  • Possesses a passion for technology and process management including marketing automation tools, email campaigns and timelines

  • Be able to flourish in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with strong time management skills

  • Ability to work toward a marketing strategy and handle end-to-end activities

  • Excellent writing, communication  and project management skills

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Ability to manage a budget

  • A sensitivity for branding and how each interaction impacts client perception

This position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Target’s needs. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member’s core role will need to be performed both onsite at the Target HQ MN location the role is assigned to and virtually, depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day.
