Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals. Should you accept this position, it is anticipated that, following conclusion of the transaction, you would be an employee of DePuy Synthes and your employment would be governed by DePuy Synthes employment processes, programs, policies, and benefit plans. In that case, details of any planned changes would be provided to you by DePuy Synthes at an appropriate time and subject to any necessary consultation processes.
We are searching for the best talent for Clinical Support Specialist based in Porto.
Purpose: You will be responsible for maintaining an existing customer base and developing surgical support, identify sales opportunities in strategic accounts across Sale Territory. In this role, you will become an integral part of the sales team by providing support to several territory managers in servicing their customers and accounts.
Your key responsibilities:
You will provide in theatre support to consultants and nursing staff regarding the use of products.
Providing accurate information regarding all products and their indications (i.e. surgical techniques) for use for Orthopaedic consultants and nursing staff.
Provide first-class service and seamless supply to customers including training, stock checks, timely deliveries and supporting the theatre team to ensure the operation proceeds successfully.
Assist in the promotion/correct use of J&J Ortho products through regular, organized customer education meetings and training sessions.
Develop business opportunities across the portfolio in Key Focus Accounts, communicate to the Territory Manager, and assist in the successful conversion of these business opportunities.
Provide support to J&J Medical Education Events.
Promote use of portfolio and services to Orthopaedic Surgeons, Theatre Staff.
Maintain and grow the business as defined by the individual business plan and Key Opinion Leader targets.
Proactively build and develop relationships with Clinical stakeholders.
Develop a portfolio of territory Key Opinion Leaders across the product portfolio.
Cover surgical cases as required to support regional colleagues.
Essential Requirements
A Bachelor's or Graduate degree in Health Sciences like Nursing
1-3 years of work experience within OR Nurse, ICU or Clinical Support in Medical Device Industry
Portuguese proficiency and good command of English
Surgical procedure knowledge, adequate to illustrate our product benefits is preferred
Excellent listening, communication, and presentation skills
Passionate, Purpose Driven and Proactive
Advance-level computer skills, and the ability to multitask without the direct oversight of manager required
Analytical thinking and Results driven. Steadfastly pushes self for results
