Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Regulatory & Compliance Manager to join the Amazon Now team to ensure technical and regulatory compliance across our engineering operations. This role will be crucial in achieving and maintaining compliance standards while scaling our engineering infrastructure across Egypt.
In this role, the candidate will lead end-to-end compliance management for Amazon Now operations, overseeing due diligence processes, permit acquisitions, and renewal procedures. The ideal candidate will navigate complex regulatory landscapes and manage compliance uncertainties across all project phases. This role requires strong stakeholder management skills to collaborate with external partners in developing and implementing comprehensive compliance frameworks that ensure Amazon Now facilities meet all building codes and operational regulations. Key responsibilities include establishing compliance protocols, maintaining regulatory documentation, coordinating with authorities, and providing strategic guidance to ensure continuous operational compliance.
Key job responsibilities
Manage engineering compliance throughout all project stages from initiation to operation.
Develop and implement engineering compliance frameworks that align with regional regulatory requirements.
Review technical drawings and engineering solutions to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Manage continuous improvement in engineering compliance processes and controls.
Provide expert guidance on technical compliance matters to internal and external stakeholders.
Establish and maintain relationships with regulatory authorities regarding technical compliance matters.
Manage technical compliance audits and assessments in collaboration with internal cross functional business functions.
- 3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules

Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of program or project management experience- 3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience- 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
