About this role

This position is for a seasoned professional in Project Management, who works independently, supports the development of project plans, schedules and budgets for projects, facilitates project tasks with various functional organizations, forecast project revenues, tracks progress, identifies project problems, and recommends resolutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supports the development of project plans, schedules and budgets for projects under his/her responsibility to ensure adherence to the established program plan, schedule, and budget.

  • Tracks progress and identifies/resolves obstacles to minimize disruption to project schedules.

  • Forecasts project revenues and re-estimates project costs on a monthly basis to monitor costs and to maximize project profitability.

  • Analyzes data gathered and develops solutions or alternative methods of proceeding to optimize performance.

  • Maintains and presents plans and progress reports relating to business aspects of the project(s) to track progress and ensure that established targets are met.

  • Identifies and addresses project problems and recommends resolutions to ensure the successful completion of projects.

  • Facilitates project tasks with the various functional organizations to ensure alignment with overall project objectives.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED 

  • 3+ years of experience in HVAC, Construction or Building Automation and Controls

  • 1+ years of experience with the Microsoft Office Suite

  • Valid and current Driver’s License and can be insurable by the company’s insurance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized college or university in building HVAC with a focus on building automation controls (3- or 4-year program)

  • Ability to lead and motivate teams

  • Strong problem solving, planning and project management skills

  • Ability to read and understand scope of work

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

  • General knowledge of employment laws and practices

  • Demonstrated knowledge of project financial reporting

  • Previous field experience with commissioning of DDC Systems and/or hands-on experience in the field of deploying or commissions

  • Prior experience in Construction, HVAC and/or Building Automation preferred 

  • Experience in dealing with a number of simultaneous challenges, requiring knowledge of many different disciplines

  • A true team player who has the customer’s best interests first and foremost

Pay Range

The annual salary for this position is between $79,000.00 - $158,000.00 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.

Other Compensation

This position may be entitled to short-term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.
