Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing projects including maintaining schedules, plans and reporting progress.
- Creating reports to support governance by collating, analysing and evaluating data.
- Analysing financial information to determine project and business performance.
- Supporting resource management, communication mechanisms, change management and developing documentation for projects.
- Maintaining risks, actions, issues and change registers.
- Supporting supply chain interactions with major subcontractors.
- Identifying opportunities for improvement and recommendations to leadership.
- Supporting leadership in championing policy and process improvements for Ultra Maritime.
- Participate in Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) activities to maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Promulgate Ultra Maritime vision, strategies, goals and initiatives.
- Uphold, safeguard and promote Ultra Maritime’s values.
Key Competency Requirements:
- Understanding of the whole project lifecycle, from bids and proposals through to in service support to inform Defence projects.
- Understanding of business functions to inform internal transformation projects.
- Experience using enterprise resource planning tools (e.g. IFS), business management tools (e.g. Microsoft Office suite) and configuration management tools (e.g. Windchill)
- Understanding of Ultra Maritime Australia’s Company Standard Procedures.
- Understanding of the interface between project management and other areas of Ultra Maritime Australia.

- Proficiency in business reporting with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to use sound problem solving techniques to provide reliable solutions to a variety of problems.

Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in either Commerce, Finance, Project Management, Supply Chain (or equivalent).
- At least 3 years of experience after completion of a degree.
- Experience in Defence business reporting.
- Experience in working within multi skilled business teams.
Nationality Requirements
The successfully appointed candidate must be eligible to obtain and maintain a current Australian Defence Security Clearance to Negative Vetting Level 1 (NV1).
