Job Summary

This is a paid internship offering hands-on, project-based experience within a finance/accounting team. The intern will be assigned to a specific business unit and work closely with an Intern Coordinator and business Sponsor. The role is designed to build foundational skills through on-the-job learning, exposure to real business priorities, and structured coaching.

Key Responsibilities

Support monthly financial processes, including:
- Rolling forward FX analysis
- Budget file rollovers
- Headcount analysis
Prepare and assist with monthly reporting (e.g., charitable donations)
Conduct research to support technical accounting requests
Coordinate and schedule SOX walkthroughs and preparatory calls with control owners
Contribute to ad hoc projects, including:
- Reducing manual journal entries
- Supporting the setup and maintenance of an intercompany matrix

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in, or recently completed, a post-secondary program in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
No prior related work experience required
Basic proficiency with Excel and data files
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to follow structured processes and work on clearly defined tasks
Interest in gaining practical experience in a corporate finance environment
