What We Do:

Huntress is a fully remote, global team of passionate experts and ethical badasses on a mission to break down the barriers to cybersecurity. Whether creating purpose-built security solutions, hunting down hackers, or impacting our community, our people go above and beyond to change the security game and make a real difference.

Founded in 2015 by former NSA cyber operators, Huntress protects all businesses—not just the 1%—with enterprise-grade, fully owned, and managed cybersecurity products at the price of an affordable SaaS application. The Huntress difference is our One Team advantage: our technology is designed with our industry-defining Security Operations Center (SOC) in mind and is never separated from our service.

We protect 4M+ endpoints and 7M+ identities worldwide, elevating underresourced IT teams with protection that works as hard as they do. As long as hackers keep hacking, Huntress keeps hunting.

What You’ll Do:

As our first Legal Counsel outside of the US, you will be the architect of our legal strategy across EMEA. In this role, you’ll partner with senior leaders to develop commercial terms and refine and evolve our data privacy program, ensuring we deliver extreme value and build deep trust with international partners and customers. You’ll give more than you take, acting as a dedicated advocate for our mission and a collaborative resource for teams navigating new markets.

This role requires a true Warrior Spirit. You will manage the inherent chaos of international expansion with clarity, remaining unshakeable as you build upon the legal framework for our growing footprint. Whether you are leading complex customer negotiations or implementing legal AI tools to help us scale, you’ll take deep ownership of the challenges that come with being "the first." You won't wait for permission to fix things; you’ll spot the hurdles in our EMEA growth and lead the way to a solution.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary legal point of contact for all EMEA Sales and Procurement operations, leading high-impact negotiations for customer and vendor contracts
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to design and implement commercial terms that facilitate rapid growth across new international territories
  • Take ownership of the EMEA data privacy program, ensuring Huntress remains ahead of evolving regulatory requirements
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on privacy and data protection, providing clear, actionable guidance to internal stakeholders
  • Evaluate and integrate legal AI tools to drive efficiency in contract workflows and document management
  • Partner with the US-based legal team to ensure global alignment while maintaining local compliance and market relevance

What You Bring To The Team:

  • 5+ years of experience in commercial law, specifically focused on contract negotiation and vendor management within the EU
  • Substantial experience in data privacy and protection; a CIPP/E certification is highly preferred
  • A proven track record of supporting international expansion for a high-growth technology or cybersecurity company
  • Hands-on experience using or implementing AI tools to streamline legal operations
  • The ability to work independently as a "team of one" while maintaining strong communication with a global leadership team
  • Deep intellectual curiosity and a proactive approach to solving complex, cross-border legal challenges
  • Resilience and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where you are building the playbook as you go

What We Offer:

  • 100% remote work environment - since our founding in 2015
  • Generous paid time off policy, including vacation, sick time, and paid holidays
  • 12 weeks of paid parental leave
  • Highly competitive and comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits plans
  • 401(k) with a 5% contr
