Job Description

Our Mission

Healthcare should work for patients, but it doesn’t. In their time of need, they call down outdated insurance directories. Then wait on hold. Then wait weeks for the privilege of a visit. Then wait in a room solely designed for waiting. Then wait for a surprise bill. In any other consumer industry, the companies delivering such a poor customer experience would not survive. But in healthcare, patients lack market power. Which means they are expected to accept the unacceptable.

Zocdoc’s mission is to give power to the patient. To do that, we’ve built the leading healthcare marketplace that makes it easy to find and book in-person or virtual care in all 50 states, across +200 specialties and +12k insurance plans. By giving patients the ability to see and choose, we give them power. In doing so, we can make healthcare work like every other consumer sector, where businesses compete for customers, not the other way around. In time, this will drive quality up and prices down.

We’re 18 years old and the leader in our space, but we are still just getting started. If you like solving important, complex problems alongside deeply thoughtful, driven, and collaborative teammates, read on.

Your Impact on our Mission:

At Zocdoc, we’re building the best experience for millions of patients to find a great doctor and for hundreds of thousands of providers to grow their practices. As the Group Product Manager for Online Scheduling, you will own Zocdoc’s SaaS scheduling platform and the products that power online booking across channels. You’ll define the strategy, lead a team of product managers, and shape how patients discover and schedule care wherever they are.

This is a highly strategic and visible role at the intersection of patient experience, provider growth, and platform expansion. You’ll drive the roadmap for our Directory SaaS product, “Book Online” tooling, and Channel Syndication. As both a leader and hands-on builder, you’ll combine strategic vision with executional rigor to deliver products that redefine how providers manage demand and how patients access care.

You’ll enjoy this role if you are…

  • A strategic product leader excited by the opportunity to build and scale products in a complex, real-world domain like healthcare
  • A builder who thrives in zero-to-one environments and is passionate about launching innovative, user-first products
  • A customer-obsessed thinker who can translate deep user insight and business objectives into a compelling product strategy
  • A cross-functional collaborator who leads through influence and clarity, and brings partners along on the journey
  • A coach and mentor who knows how to develop high-performing product teams and foster a culture of ownership, inclusion, and velocity

Your day to day is…

  • Set and execute the product vision for Online Scheduling, spanning free and paid SaaS offerings, and ensure it aligns with Zocdoc’s broader Appointments & Scheduling strategy
  • Build, lead, mentor, and grow a team of product managers
  • Partner closely with Engineering, AI/ML, Design, Marketing, Sales, BD, and Operations to bring high-quality features to market
  • Continuously iterate on the vision for Online Scheduling, identifying opportunities for product expansion and channel growth that advance Zocdoc’s mission
  • Champion and implement best-in-class product development practices and team rituals

You’ll be successful in this role if you have…

  • 7+ years of product experience, ideally with B2B SaaS products
  • 3+ years of proven management experience in recruiting, leading and developing a team of great product managers
  • Demonstrated success shipping complex, technical products that drive business growth
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize data and make informed product decisions
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills<
