About the role

As a Business Development Representative at Anthropic, you'll drive the adoption of safe, frontier AI by optimizing our lead management processes and identifying new market opportunities. In this pivotal role, you'll enable our sales team to focus on high-value, revenue-generating activities by leveraging your analytical skills, project management expertise, and strategic thinking. This is a role that requires a builder mentality - you’ll be one of the first Business Development Representatives at Anthropic EMEA and will help shape what this role means and how it functions in supporting Anthropic’s growth and how businesses safely adopt and enable AI. 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement efficient lead routing and qualification strategies
  • Analyze lead data to identify patterns and opportunities for process improvement
  • Collaborate with sales teams to understand their needs and optimize lead handoff processes
  • Manage and prioritize a high volume of inbound leads
  • Conduct initial qualifications for high-potential leads
  • Outbound against tiered list to generate high-intent opportunities with Startup and Enterprise teams
  • Support the development and execution of strategic outbound initiatives
  • Provide data-driven insights to inform sales strategies and resource allocation
  • Continuously refine processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness

You may be a good fit if you have:

  • 2-3+ years of experience in a fast-growing startup, preferably in lead management and project management roles or 2-3+ years of experience in a field like finance & investment banking, consulting or software engineering
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Experience with Salesforce, HubSpot, and SQL (preferred)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Passion for AI and Anthropic's mission to develop AI systems that are safe, beneficial, and trustworthy
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, Law, Finance or related field

The annual compensation range for this role is listed below. 

For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role.

Annual Salary:
€85.000€95.000 EUR

Logistics

Education requirements: We require at least a Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.

Location-based hybrid policy:
Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices.
