Job Title: Oracle Fusion OTC Solution Architect 

Location: Bangalore 
Experience: 15+ Years 

 

Role Overview 

The Oracle Fusion OTC (OrdertoCash) Solution Architect is responsible for defining, governing, and evolving enterprisewide OTC solutions within the Oracle Fusion ERP ecosystem. This role focuses on endtoend OrdertoCash processes, supporting supporting our Americas Installation business. 

The architect will provide strategic solution direction, establish global standards, oversee partner delivery, and work closely with Sales, Finance, and Operations leaders to deliver scalable, compliant, and highquality OTC solutions. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

Solution Architecture & Strategy 

  • Drive and influence endtoend solution delivery across the Oracle Fusion OTC ecosystem spanning multiple regions and business units. 

  • Define and own the OTC template, covering Order Management, Pricing, Billing, Receivables, Credit Management, and Revenue Recognition. 

  • Ensure seamless integration across upstream and downstream systems, including CPQ, Subscription Management, Project Management, and Financials. 

  • Continuously evolve the OTC template postimplementation to support business growth, regulatory changes, and Oracle product enhancements. 

  • Provide architectural oversight to ensure scalability, performance, and data integrity across all OTC processes. 

Governance & Standards 

  • Establish and execute a strict governance framework for OTC solutions. 

  • Evaluate, approve, or reject regional/localization requirements to balance global standardization with business needs. 

  • Review and approve solution designs, configuration approaches, and key deliverables prior to deployment. 

  • Ensure adherence to enterprise architecture principles, security standards, and SOX/compliance requirements. 

Delivery & Partner Management 

  • Execute Oracle Fusion OTC programs in collaboration with system integrators and internal delivery teams. 

  • Provide functional and architectural oversight across requirements, design, build, testing, and deployment phases. 

  • Lead solution design reviews and architectural checkpoints for enhancements and strategic initiatives. 

  • Guide onshore/offshore delivery models to ensure consistent and highquality outcomes. 

Stakeholder Engagement & Support 

  • Influence senior Sales, Finance, and Operations leaders on business process optimization, revenue accuracy, and data quality. 

  • Provide functional and industryspecific subject matter expertise to support process design and solution decisions. 

  • Collaborate with Application Support organizations to resolve escalated production incidents and recurring defects. 

  • Act as an escalation point for complex OTC solution, integration, and revenuerelated issues. 

 

Required Qualifications 

Functional & Technical Expertise 

  • Proven experience with Oracle Fusion ERP and/or Oracle EBusiness Suite. 

  • Deep expertise in Oracle Fusion OTC processes, including:  

  • Order Management 

  • Pricing 

  • Billing 

  • Accounts Receivable 

  • Credit Management 

  • Revenue Recognition 

  • Minimum of one endtoend Oracle Fusion OTC implementation experience. 

  • Expertise of endtoend OTC data flows (Order Capture → Billing → AR → GL). 

  • Expertise in Oracle Fusion functional configuration for both smallscale and large enterprise initiatives. 

  • Solid working knowledge of:  

  • Oracle Database and data structures 

  • Oracle BI reporting (BIP, OTBI) 

  • Application extensions and configuration frameworks 

  • BIP and OTBI report creation and migration 

  • REST and SOAP APIs 

  • Oracle OCI, VBCS, and App Composer 

Leadership & Communication 

  • Strong ability to communicate complex functional and technical concepts to business and IT audiences. 

  • Proven experience influencing senior stakeholders and guiding enterpriselevel architectural decisions. 

  • Excellent collaboration, negotiation, and relationshipbuilding skills with internal teams and delivery partners.

Education & Certifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 

  • Oracle Fusion Cloud certifications preferred. 

 

Preferred Skills 

  • Experience with upstream and downstream integrations such as CPQ, Subscription Management, Project Contracts, and RTR. 

  • Prior experience with Oracle EBusiness Suite. 

  • Strong experience with:  

  • Functional application configuration 

  • Application extensions 

  • Oracle BI and reporting solutions
