About the role 

10x Genomics makes products that enable researchers to answer biology’s hardest and most elusive questions. Commercial systems and software are the backbone of how we reach, engage, and convert global researchers, and we are seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the continuous evolution of our marketing systems and overall web platform.

This role is built for a highly strategic, decisive product leader who blends deep expertise in B2B growth and custom web application experiences with a rigorous approach to enterprise marketing technology (MarTech) and data architecture. You will partner closely with engineering and commercial leaders to launch intuitive, self-service web solutions that delight users and drive pipeline. Simultaneously, you will act as the steward of our underlying MarTech ecosystem, architecting scalable data pipelines between our custom-built web platform and enterprise tools like Marketo and Salesforce, to optimize both new customer acquisition and existing customer expansion.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Craft a compelling product strategy for our web properties and customer platform, transforming complex scientific purchasing journeys into intuitive, self-service experiences that drive both new lead acquisition and seamless re-ordering for existing researchers.
  • Act as the steward of our MarTech ecosystem. Lead the strategic evaluation of our current stack, establishing robust operational governance and seamless data flow between our web frontend, marketing automation, and CRM tools.
  • Transform data into your creative superpower. Use web analytics, qualitative insights, and quantitative metrics to validate bold ideas, optimize conversion funnels, and ensure the capture of high-fidelity marketing intel, and leverage your deep expertise to define the underlying attribution and routing logic that connects web behavior to sales opportunities. 
  • Partner deeply across commercial leadership and engineering, translating complex business objectives into clear requirements. Leverage strong interpersonal skills to build consensus on requirements, manage change, and gracefully align cross-functional teams around scalable best practices.
  • Architect requirements for the underlying data models and workflows required to support complex, omnichannel demand generation campaigns across web, email, and paid media

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent)
  • 5 years of product management experience
  • 3 years of experience working with marketing automation systems

  • Outcome-Driven Web & Funnel Experience: Proven experience building and scaling interactive web applications and self-service experiences, with a clear history of using web analytics to optimize funnels and drive measurable business outcomes.
  • MarTech Mastery: Deep familiarity scaling and modernizing complex marketing technology environments, with a history of driving data integrity, lead routing efficiency, and operational efficiency across the stack.
  • Iterative Delivery: Strong capability in scoping high-value MVPs and delivering incremental releases. You know how to seamlessly balance immediate, short-term enhancements to the web experience with the long-term integrity of a multi-year MarTech architectural roadmap.
  • Technical Acumen: You have the technical confidence to engage in robust discussions with engineers, evaluate architecture trade-offs, design complex global system logic, and establish rigorous data governance frameworks.
  • Global Privacy & Compliance Acumen: Deep understanding of international data privacy regulations and modern consent management. You excel at architecting compliant, secure data workflows and cookie frameworks that protect user privacy without compromising the fidelity of our marketing analytics and lead generation.
  • Cross-Functional Alignment: A history of acting as the central alignment force between engineering and commercial
