What you will have an opportunity to do:
Position Summary
The Director of Revenue Management is responsible for leading the strategic analysis and execution of revenue maximization efforts for Skamania Lodge. This senior leadership role optimizes group and transient business thresholds to drive revenue growth relative to the competitive set. The Director partners closely with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Corporate Revenue teams to ensure pricing, inventory, and positioning strategies align with Pyramid Global Hospitality revenue management standards and brand requirements.
Primary Responsibilities
• Lead revenue strategy to maximize occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, and profitability.
• Recommend and coordinate pricing and positioning in accordance with Pyramid and brand standards.
• Provide short‑ and long‑term analysis impacting rooms revenue and overall financial performance.
• Analyze market conditions, citywide events, and demand trends to capture incremental revenue.
• Identify new revenue opportunities and communicate strategies to property leadership.
Essential Functions
• Proactively review and analyze inventory and rate strategies.
• Manage group and transient inventory controls and cutoff dates.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, and rolling forecasts and annual budgets.
• Conduct displacement analysis for group and contract business.
• Lead weekly revenue management meetings per Pyramid SOPs.
• Analyze STR, CRS, GDS, turndown and property diagnostics.
• Champion third‑party distribution channels and manage market manager relationships.
• Review competitive pricing, market trends, and demand calendars.
• Partner with Front Office, Sales, and Marketing to ensure sell‑out strategies.
• Serve as liaison with regional and brand revenue leaders.
Qualifications
• Minimum of 5–7 years of progressive hotel or resort revenue management experience.
• Prior experience in a senior capacity as a Director or Lead of Revenue Management required.
• Proven success managing revenue strategy for an independent hotel or resort environment.
• Strong analytical, financial, and strategic thinking capabilities.
• Advanced experience with automated revenue management systems and distribution platforms.
• Hospitality or lodging background strongly preferred.
