 Overview:

We are looking for a QA Manual + Automation Engineer with a strong understanding of both manual and automation testing principles. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar tools, along with a solid background in manual testing and API testing. You will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our web and mobile applications by developing robust test cases and expanding automation coverage.

 Key Responsibilities:

• Design and execute functional, regression, and exploratory tests for web and mobile applications.
• Identify, log, and track defects in a bug-tracking tool.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (development, product, and design) to understand testing requirements.
• Write and maintain automated test scripts using frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar tools.
• Develop and maintain automation for end-to-end (E2E) and regression test suites.
• Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility using cloud testing services like BrowserStack/LambdaTest.
• Create and execute API tests using tools like Postman, Newman, or similar frameworks.
• Validate API responses, status codes, and error handling using assertions.
• Integrate automation tests with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
• Collaborate with DevOps to ensure tests run automatically as part of the release process.
• Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and reports.
• Provide detailed bug reports, reproduction steps, and test summary reports.

 Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
• 6+ years of experience with a deep expertise in testing methodologies and manual testing.
• 3+ years of experience in automation testing using tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar frameworks.
• Strong understanding of manual testing processes, including test case creation and bug reporting.
• Experience with API testing using Postman/Newman or similar tools.
• Familiarity with JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Python for writing automation scripts.
• Understanding of cross-browser and cross-device testing.
• Good to have experience with cloud testing platforms like BrowserStack or LambdaTest.
• Knowledge of mobile app testing using Appium.
• Basic understanding of version control (Git).
