Through an Employer of Record (EOR), we are looking for a new Technology Lead - E-Commerce (or Backend Engineering Team Lead as we like to call it!) in India to join our growing IT Team. This individual will report into our Sr. Director of IT and be responsible for leading the design, development, and delivery of reliable and scalable software systems while guiding a team of Engineers toward high performance and strong technical execution. Role Type: Full-Time

Location: Remote from India

Schedule: Monday through Friday with a minimum schedule overlap of 4-5 hours per day with 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. U.S. Eastern Time to ensure effective collaboration

Base Salary: $50,000 – $60,000 per year

Responsibilities:

Technical Design, Development, and Architecture
- Design and build scalable, reliable distributed systems to support evolving business needs.
- Lead the design and delivery of complex backend initiatives with minimal oversight.
- Serve as a technical expert in key system areas, guiding architecture, design patterns, and scalability decisions.
- Contribute to architectural discussions and platform direction, staying current on emerging technologies and best practices.
