Who You Are

The Senior Accountant of Financial Reporting will help prepare and manage our internal and external financial reporting build-out in accordance with SEC standards. You will be involved in consolidated financial reporting and analysis, technical accounting projects, carrying out new processes, and helping manage cross-functional efforts with the accounting team to ensure they are kept informed on new accounting standards and implications of financial transactions. You are comfortable with quickly adapting to change and will champion the advancement of processes and controls surrounding financial reporting and technical accounting.

Your Success Profile

What You Will Work On

  • Prepare monthly consolidated financial statements in accordance with US GAAP, including Balance Sheet, Income Statement, and Cash Flow, ensuring internal consistency and period-over-period continuity.
  • Prepare materials for the financial statement disclosure process, including drafting footnotes, maintaining the disclosure checklist, and managing all related support documentation.
  • Prepare quarterly high-level fluctuation analysis for the Balance Sheet and Income Statement to document significant changes between periods.
  • Collaborate with the Controllers group, FP&A, and the international accounting group to ensure income statements and balance sheet transactions are classified correctly
  • Stay updated on Regulation S-X and S-K requirements, applying them to financial presentations and disclosures within quarterly and annual reports
  • Partner with the Senior Manager to design and implement new internal control procedures for month-end close and quarterly reporting.
  • Assist with the technical implementation and adoption of new accounting standards and identify new disclosures required by US GAAP updates.
  • Manage the monthly stock-based compensation process, including preparing the workbook, calculating expense, and recording journal entries in accordance with ASC 718
  • Coordinate with Legal to facilitate equity transaction processing (grants, exercises, vesting) and ensure accurate financial recording.
  • Prepare equity-specific reporting, including footnote support and assisting with the quarterly equity cycle.
  • Work with external and internal auditors, providing supporting documentation for quarterly reviews and annual audits.
  • Assist with special projects and ad-hoc financial initiatives as needed.
