We are seeking a skilled Senior Software Engineer ( Sr .Net Developer) to join our App Services for DT&D GCIO -CAT IT Division Bangalore Team.

The preference for this role is to be based out of Bangalore PSN Office, KA-India

What you will do

.Net developer job involves developing, testing, and maintaining Web applications, APIs, using SQL/Oracle/Postgres as the backend.

Key skills include .NET, .NET Core, HTML, CSS, JS, JQUERY, SQL/Oracle/Postgres database proficiency and SQL query optimization.

Effective communication and collaboration skills are critical to this job role.

• Competent to perform all programming, development, and integration assignments without close supervision.
• Develop Forms, MVC web applications/APIs and batch process to support business functions.
• Collaborate with business units to understand their processes and data needs, translating business requirements into technical solutions.
• Participate in requirements analysis and collaborate with internal teams to produce software design and architecture.
• Troubleshoot and identify the issues quickly. Have an overall understanding of typical issues that occur in the solution and develop patterns around reported issues.
• Provide the required techno-functional guidance and support by gaining in-depth understanding of customer’s business, ecosystem and existing solutions implemented in terms of capabilities, functionalities, and constraints.
• Provide project updates and progress to technical lead and/or senior developers.
• Develop fit-for-purpose documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC)
• Participate in project planning/delivery meetings with management and other team members.
• Develop and maintain supply chain software solutions using .NET, C#, and Angular to improve demand forecasting and operational efficiency.
• Manage and optimize databases in both Postgres and Oracle environments, ensuring data integrity and performance.
• Lead and execute GitHub migration projects, maintaining best version control and collaborative development practices.
• Continuously learn about the latest technologies and methodologies in supply chain management and software development to drive innovation within the team.
• Foster strong relationships with business stakeholders, understand their challenges and contribute to strategic planning and solution development.
• Demonstrate accountability and ownership of projects, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement and taking initiative to implement changes.

What you will have 

• 8+ years of professional IT programming experience with .NET C#, Web Forms and MVC, HTML and JavaScript, jQuery.

• 2+ years working knowledge of cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP) Technologies and components.
• Strong technical expertise and work experience in .Net, .Net Core and Good understanding in WEB API, REST and HTTP protocols.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with cross functional teams including developers, database administrators and stakeholders to deliver high quality solutions.
• Good knowledge of source control environments like TFS, GitHub, Git etc.
• Proven experience in database management with Postgres and Oracle.
• Sound understanding OOPS, best coding practises and development processes.
• Good Knowledge of Design patterns and Architectures and best practices for enhancing the application performance.
• Good understanding and expertise in Angular/React JS/VUE JS (Nice to have)
• Knowledge of the DevOps/ DevSecOps.
• Capability to resolve conflicts and disagreements in a constructive manner and maintain positive relationship with the team.
• Solid understanding of supply chain processes and the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions. (Nice to Have)

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology or relevant experience in the field.

Additional Information:

• Work Timings: 01:00 Noon -10:00PM IST
• This position requires the employee to work a 5-day-a-week schedule in the office.
