Global Vein to Vein (V2V) Excellence is searching for the best talent for a Process Excellence Manager located in Raritan, NJ.

Janssen Biotech, Inc., one of the Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson, and Legend Biotech USA Inc., have entered into a global, strategic collaboration to develop, manufacture, and commercialize a chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy. This innovative strategic partnership is designed to combine the strengths and expertise of two companies to advance the promise of an immunotherapy CAR-T platform and investigational treatment.

Are you interested in joining a team that is on the front lines supporting the CAR-T Patient Journey? Apply today for this exciting opportunity!

Why this role matters

Together, we build future‑ready processes for next‑generation CAR‑T products, turning requirements for lead time, efficiency, right‑first‑time performance, and reliability into robust, scalable process capability. As Process Excellence Manager, you will define and maintain clear process standards across the supply chain. We keep these processes current as technologies, site builds, and operating models evolve — including growing automation and digital enablement. By embedding Lean thinking and digital solutions early, we ensure our processes are built for scale from the beginning. We also bring findings from current commercial operations into pipeline products, strengthening execution reliability and future readiness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead process evolution for manufacturing launches and scale‑up, including the transition from manual operations toward automation

  • Own and maintain E2E process standards and Level 4 process maps, ensuring alignment across sites and partners

  • Partner with Business Architects, Digital, and IT teams to ensure process consistency, design readiness, and digital integration

  • Drive continuous improvement through Kaizen, Gemba, and After Action Reviews, translating insights into sustained process improvements

  • Own process change governance, ensuring changes are assessed, approved, implemented, and communicated with rigor

  • Define and use process performance metrics (e.g. turnaround time, key percentiles, compliance) to enable clear decision‑making

  • Provide thought leadership and analysis to support capacity planning, launch readiness, and process standardization

Ensure all process changes and improvements maintain compliance with regulatory, quality, and patient‑safety requirements

Qualifications Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree or equivalent experience preferred (Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations Research, Business, Life Sciences, or related).

Experience and Skills:

  • Minimum 6 years of relevant supply chain, operations, or process excellence experience; experience in cell therapy or sophisticated healthcare supply chains is desirable

  • Shown ownership of process mapping and end‑to‑end process standards across multiple sites

  • Proven track record to lead cross‑functional projects in matrixed organizations and influence without direct authority

  • Strong facilitation skills (AARs, Kaizen, Gemba) and experience applying Lean/Six Sigma methodologies

  • Excellent analytical, quantitative, and interpersonal skills; comfortable synthesizing data into clear recommendations

  • Experience working in ambiguous, fast paced environments with shifting priorities and tight deadlines

  • Business and financial acumen to influence E2E decisions and assess trade offs.

  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 30% (domestic and international).

Preferred:

  • Experience in startup/launch environments and supporting site go‑lives or technology transitions

  • Certifications: Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or higher), APICS/CPIM, PMP or equivalent

  • Familiarity with process governance frameworks, change control in regulated environments, and process mapping/performance dashboard tools

  • Affinity for running day‑to‑day operations in addition to strategic improvement work

Other:

  • Flexible hours may be required to coordinate across time zones

  • On‑site presence for go‑live and site design activities will be needed as required
