As a Logistics Specialist II, you’ll play a key role in executing day-to-day freight operations, ensuring shipments move efficiently, on time, and in line with customer expectations. This is a fast-paced, execution-focused role where you’ll manage shipments, resolve issues, and collaborate across teams to keep operations running smoothly.
You’ll work closely with shipping sites, carriers, and internal teams, using tools like a Transportation Management System (TMS) and email platforms to manage high-volume activity and real-time problem solving.
This position follows a hybrid schedule based in Exton, PA (3 days in office, 2 days remote).
What You’ll Do
- Manage the day-to-day execution of shipments within a Transportation Management System (TMS)
- Ensure all loads are planned, executed, and delivered on time
- Monitor shipments and proactively resolve issues such as delays, errors, or carrier challenges
- Communicate with shipping sites, carriers, and internal teams to provide updates and resolve issues
- Manage a high volume of emails and system updates while prioritizing urgent requests
- Troubleshoot LTL and Truckload shipment issues and escalate when needed
- Support continuous improvement by identifying process gaps and recommending solutions
- Maintain accurate shipment, rate, and operational data within systems
- Assist with resolving billing or invoice discrepancies
Basic Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 1+ year of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain
- Ability to manage multiple tasks across systems (email, TMS, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in logistics, brokerage, or 3PL operations
- Experience managing LTL and Truckload shipments
- Experience using a Transportation Management System (TMS)
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize under pressure
- Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets
