Our Student Program provides amazing opportunities to develop functional job skills and gain real-world experience and expertise. We offer spring, fall and year-round internships and co-ops in fields across the company, including engineering, finance, and business development.

We are seeking a Summer Intern to join our Electrical Test Engineering Team.



Responsibilities:

Test Engineering provides a variety of support to programs requiring environmental test and verification.  This is a hands-on position that requires the candidate to work directly with the technical staff to complete the required assignments. In this role, the candidate will be responsible for:

  • Designing specialized tooling
  • Generating test procedures
  • Supporting testing in the lab
  • Develop test plans and procedures
  • Design of specialized tooling/fixtures/equipment
  • Assist technicians as required to install and prepare for test
  • Collect test data, data reduction and generate test reports at test completion


Qualifications:

Required: 

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
  • Current junior or above pursuing a degree in either electrical, or aerospace engineering

EHS/Environmental Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate, listen to, and interpret instructions, operate tools and/or machinery with hands and arms and remain stationary for extended periods of the time. The employee will use protective equipment to work with chemicals, move between workstations, reach, and replace equipment, and move items weighing up to 25 lbs. There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
