Role

We are looking for a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to join our Engineering team in a hybrid capacity based in Bangalore, reporting to the Director, Software Development Engineering.

You will contribute as a development engineer within our Engineering team, helping to build and enhance the world’s largest cloud security platform. You will bring your vision and passion to a team of experts enabling organizations worldwide to harness speed and agility through a cloud-first strategy.

What you’ll do (Role Expectations)

Design, architect, implement, and support end-to-end CI/CD systems for mission-critical distributed application deployments on Zscaler Private and Public clouds such as AWS and GCP
Assist developers with merging, resolving conflicts, and managing pre-commit hooks while owning the administration of DevSecOps tools like GitLab, GitHub, Bitbucket, Bamboo, Jenkins, Grafana, Prometheus, Artifactory, and ArgoCD/Flux
Ensure the security of code, applications, and infrastructure through hands-on experience with security scanning (SAST/SCA/DAST) tools such as SonarQube, Snyk, BlackDuck, Coverity, CheckMarx, and TruffleHog
Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Chef, Ansible, and Puppet
Track and monitor build metrics—including code coverage, build times, and agent consumption—and chart them over time using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, Splunk, and Loki
