The Opportunity:

Our Student Program provides amazing opportunities to develop functional job skills and gain real-world experience and expertise. We offer spring, fall and year-round internships and co-ops in fields across the company, including engineering, finance, and business development.

We are currently seeking a Summer Intern in our Engineering department.

Responsibilities:

• Developing and simulating VHDL / Verilog designs
• Creating and executing test scripts
• Analyzing and documenting digital designs
• Performing hardware debug and verification in a lab environment

Qualifications:

Required: 

• Familiarity with VHDL / Verilog and FPGA design concepts
• Utilization of tools for data analysis (Python, MATLAB, etc)
• Knowledge of analog and digital electronic circuits
• Ability to quickly learn on the job
• Aptitude for creative problem solving
• GPA 3.3 or higher
• Completed a minimum of 24 college credits and currently pursuing a related degree
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

EHS/Environmental Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to communicate, listen to, and interpret instructions, occasionally operate tools and/or machinery with hands and arms and remain stationary for extended periods of the time. The employee will use protective equipment when working with chemicals, move between workstations, reach, and replace equipment, and move items weighing up to 25 lbs. There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
