Facility Specialist II (Phoenix, AZ)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Facilities Specialist (Equipment) to join our Phoenix-based team. This role focuses on managing the gas distribution system, providing expert troubleshooting for complex issues, and supporting on-site semiconductor manufacturing test operations.  The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities

Gas Distribution System Management

Monitor and track gas usage and VMB POC

Perform cylinder change-outs for gas cabinets and ensure timely ordering

Assist with dry downs, final connections, and disconnects

Support installation and commissioning projects involving gas systems

Ensuring safety protocol is followed.


Project & Policy Development

Assist with capital projects requiring gas distribution work

Help create policies and procedures for systems lacking documentation

 

General Facilities Support

Participate in miscellaneous tasks for the facilities group

Assist with company functions and events as needed



Qualifications


Education / Experience:

High School Diploma.  Minimum 5–10 years of facilities experience, preferably in the semiconductor industry, strong troubleshooting


Skills:

Strong documentation and organizational skills

Excellent time management and customer service attitude

Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities

Expert troubleshooting abilities for complex systems and equipment

Ability to work effectively as part of a team

General understanding of semiconductor tool process flow

Commitment to safety with the ability to identify and prioritize safety protocols

Ability to obtain Breathing Air (BA) Certification or complete fit testing for safe operation under a BA mask 

**This position requires participation in an on-call rotation to provide 24-hour support during which they will be responsible for responding to urgent issues outside of regular business hours.
