Position Overview:

Solid Power is seeking a Senior Treasury Analyst to join our talented team of engineers and scientists working to revolutionize the battery industry through the development of next generation, all solid‐state rechargeable batteries. Solid Power is a public company with a dynamic, fast‐paced, and highly collaborative environment where innovation thrives. The Senior Treasury Analyst is responsible for supporting the management of the company's treasury functions, including cash management, financial analysis, banking relationships, and risk assessment. This role involves working closely with finance, accounting, and other departments to optimize the company’s capital structure and ensure sufficient liquidity for operational needs.

Job Duties:

  • Cash Management: Monitor daily cash positions, forecast cash flows, and ensure adequate liquidity for operational needs and strategic initiatives.
  • Investment Management: Analyze and recommend investment strategies to optimize returns while managing risk; liaise with investment managers or financial institutions as necessary.
  • Banking Relationships: Assist in managing bank relationships; analyze product offerings and strategic fit, and support negotiations with banks and financial institutions.
  • Equity Administration: Support equity administration processes, including analysis of equity transactions, reconciliation of equity-related activity, coordination with accounting and payroll, and ensuring accurate reporting and compliance with internal policies.
  • Reporting: Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders, summarizing treasury activities, liquidity positions, and investment performance.
  • Policy Development: Assist in helping develop and implement treasury policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and control.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with accounting, finance, legal, and other departments to ensure cohesive financial planning and analysis.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulations and internal policies related to treasury operations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CTP) is a plus.&l
