Job Description:

AMO Groningen werft een QA Engineer voor de locatie Groningen.

De QA Engineer zorgt ervoor dat systemen en apparatuur binnen het Mechanical and Optical Laboratory (MO Lab) adequaat worden onderhouden en voldoen aan de geldende richtlijnen. De QA Engineer draagt bij aan de ontwikkeling van hoogwaardige producten door laboratoriumtestmethoden voor het testen van de mechanische en optische eigenschappen van deze producten te ontwikkelen en te verbeteren. In deze rol werk je nauw samen met R&D, QA en Technical Services, en ondersteun je non-conformities en CAPA‑processen.

Belangrijkste verantwoordelijkheden:

• Beoordelen van de naleving van toepasselijke laboratoriumnormen en procedures;

• Optreden als Subject Matter Expert (SME) tijdens projecten, én tijdens audits en inspecties door regelgevende instanties, medische hulpmiddelen‑instanties (MD) en Notified Bodies;

• Verbeteren en onderhouden van laboratoriumprocedures;

• Specificeren, ontwikkelen en verbeteren van validaties van testmethoden, inclusief het schrijven van protocollen en rapporten;

• Schrijven en ontwikkelen van IQ- en TMV‑protocollen en rapporten voor nieuwe en bestaande laboratoriumapparatuur;

• Optreden als projectleider voor laboratoriumgerelateerde projecten;

• Deelnemen aan cross-functionele projecten en activiteiten wanneer nodig;

• Coördineren van niet-routinematige laboratoriumtesten, inclusief validatietesten;

• Beheren van interne auditbevindingen, non‑conformities en CAPA‑records vanaf initiatie tot volledige afronding en goedkeuring;

• Aanbevelingen doen ter verbetering van productkwaliteit, efficiëntie, kosten, processen en productiviteitstechnieken;

• Ondersteunen van dagelijkse laboratorium troubleshooting voor testapparatuur en onverwachte testresultaten;

• Verzamelen en analyseren van testresultaten;

• Leiden van Cost Improvement (CIP) projecten.

Kwalificaties

Opleiding:

Bachelor- of masterdiploma, bij voorkeur in werktuigbouwkunde, optische engineering, mechatronica of een relevante technische discipline.

Ervaring en vaardigheden:

Minimaal 4 jaar relevante ervaring binnen farmaceutische bedrijven en/of bedrijven in medische hulpmiddelen.

Overige:

• Gevorderde, brede en diepgaande kennis van laboratoriumtesten en automatisering;

• Hoge mate van nauwkeurigheid en aandacht voor detail;

• Sterke probleemoplossende en analytische vaardigheden;

• Sterke planningsvaardigheden met het vermogen om meerdere prioriteiten te combineren en technische problemen op te lossen;

• Goede interpersoonlijke vaardigheden, met het vermogen effectief samen te werken met medewerkers op alle niveaus;

• Uitstekende schrijfvaardigheden voor het opstellen van protocollen, rapporten, zakelijke correspondentie en procedures;

• Proactief en in staat om zelfstandig te werken;

• Vaardigheid om nieuwe of verbeterde testmethoden te ontwikkelen en te presenteren, en laboratoriumproblemen tijdig op te lossen;

• Vloeiend in Nederlands en Engels;

• In staat om met verschillende meetinstrumenten te werken.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is 44,700 to 70,840 EUR

on an annual basis and includes 8% holiday allowance.

 In addition to base pay, we offer the following benefits*: an annual bonus with set target (% of pay) depending on pay grade / location, where the actual amount is based on the employees’ and companies’ performance of the previous calendar year, or sales commissions.
