Job Description
About the Role
Red Hat is seeking a Senior Manager of Product Management to lead the evolution of our digital customer engagement platform. This role owns the strategy and execution for the Hybrid Cloud Console (console.redhat.com) and the end-to-end Subscription Experience—the primary interface through which customers discover, manage, and derive value from Red Hat’s hybrid cloud technologies.
The Hybrid Cloud Console serves as the central control plane for Red Hat’s hybrid cloud platform, connecting customers to services across Red Hat Enterprise Linux, OpenShift, Ansible, and our broader ecosystem.
In this role, you will drive the transformation of the console into an essential operational platform that integrates seamlessly with customers’ existing management workflows. At the same time, you will lead the evolution of the subscription experience to deliver full transparency into usage, entitlements, and investment value, enabling customers to better understand and maximize their Red Hat investments.
You will lead a team of Product Managers responsible for defining strategy, shaping the product roadmap, and delivering a world-class SaaS experience that scales across Red Hat’s hybrid cloud portfolio.
What You Will Do
Develop and communicate a compelling multi-year strategy for the Hybrid Cloud Console and Subscription Experience, positioning the console as the central operational interface for Red Hat’s hybrid cloud services
Synthesize insights from customers, partners, telemetry, and field teams to identify key market opportunities and translate them into clear product strategies, roadmaps, and measurable outcomes
Work across multiple business units, engineering teams, and go-to-market organizations to ensure a consistent, unified customer experience across Red Hat’s hybrid cloud offerings
Guide the development of incremental, high-impact capabilities delivered on a predictable cadence, ensuring the platform evolves rapidly while maintaining a high bar for quality and usability
Manage and mentor a team of Product Managers, setting clear expectations, fostering accountability, and supporting their professional growth
Act as a visible thought leader and spokesperson for the platform through customer engagements, partner enablement, technical blogs, and presentations at industry events and conferences
Travel as needed to meet with customers, gather feedback, and ensure our roadmap reflects real-world operational needs
What You Will Bring
Proven ability to translate market trends, competitive dynamics, and customer pain points into a differentiated product strategy
Superior written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate complex technical value propositions to both developers and executive decision-makers
Demonstrated ability to lead through influence across engineering, design, sales, and multiple business units to drive aligned outcomes
A bachelor's or graduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Science, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent experience in technical product management is highly valued
Experience working directly with customers and partners to understand operational challenges and translate those insights into meaningful product improvements
Travel up to 10% as required for planning meetings, customer engagements, and major industry events
The following are considered a plus:
Strong foundational knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux, OpenShift, and Ansible, with an understanding of how these technologies are deployed in hybrid environments
Experience building or managing Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) products, with familiarity in cloud-native architectures, telemetry-driven product iteration, and continuous delivery models
Experience developing platform products that serve as a central operational interface across multiple services or product lines
