Job Description:

As an Industrial Engineering supervisor international at UPS, your role is crucial in developing work measurement systems to enhance package job set-ups and improve operational efficiency while reducing costs. You are responsible for auditing operating plans and ensuring compliance with procedures to meet service commitments. You will work closely with Division and HUB and Feeder Manager to prioritize opportunities for process improvements and ensure key business objectives are met. You will provide tools, trainings, and support to operators to implement new services, improved procedures, and cutting-edge technology in our automated HUB in Eindhoven. What you’ll need

  • Education: A bachelor’s in industrial engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics or related.
  • Experience: At least 5+ years in a role as a senior industrial engineer (analyst), or 3+ years as a supervisor or consultant in an operational/supply chain environment.
  • Strong knowledge of operational methods and procedures in a supply chain management environment and knowledge of latest developments in terms of automation and innovation in Logistics. 
  • The ability to determine and review various solutions and can translate these into business cases and operational procedures. 
  • Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint. MS Visio experience is preferred.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills (in English)
  • Be able and willing to travel.
