Job Title

Sr Associate, Software Development Engineering

Quality Assurance – Conversion and Implementation (Mainframe)

Responsibilities:

• Develop test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures based on business requirements and technical specifications
• Execute test cases and document results to ensure the quality and functionality of mainframe applications
• Identify and report defects and issues to development teams and work with them to resolve problems
• Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of quality software
• Provide support to end-users during the UAT (User Acceptance Testing) phase
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the testing process and methodology
• Support conversion validation process post conversion

Requirements:

• Experience in mainframe testing
• Strong knowledge of JCL,CICS
• Ability to write complex SQL queries and perform database testing
• Experience in test planning, test case design, and test execution
• Knowledge of test automation tools such as Tosca or Playwright an added advantage
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams
