About the team and position
We’re looking for a Cashiering Specialist to join our team. This individual will be responsible for working with multiple departments to ensure payments are made to proper vendors. You will complete payments by receiving, processing, and verifying invoices. You will be working closely with other members of the Treasury Operations team, in addition to our Accounting and Customer Advocate teams. Most importantly, you will see your insights have an immediate, tangible impact every day.

We offer a competitive starting hourly rate of $20/hr with substantial growth opportunities based on performance. You can boost your earnings within a short timeframe:
- Starting Pay: $20/hr
- At 6-Months: $20.50/hr
- At 12-Months: $21.50/hr
After 6 months you unlock our performance-based, Careers Not Jobs program which allows eligible team members a compensation increase ($0.50) every 90 days*.
What you’ll be doing
- Complete payments by receiving, processing, and verifying incoming and outgoing checks.
- Partnering closely with the Accounting teams to confirm payments are processed daily.
- Reviewing data from multiple sources to ensure payment consistency and accuracy.
- Applying a layer of quality assurance to validate data entry.
- Providing internal customer service by responding to a variety of questions.
What you should know/have
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Drive to solve problems
- Ability to manage, organize, and reconcile multiple sources of information with accuracy
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities effectively
- Ability to adapt to change
- A sense of humor - Kinda serious about this one
- A love for working with others and a strong understanding of teamwork
- Intermediate knowledge of Excel such as filtering information and applying formulas (e.g., VLOOKUP, SUM, COUNTIF, etc.).
- An understanding of Accounting Principles (e.g., record keeping, debits, credits, etc.).
- Enthusiasm and energy to contribute to and thrive in a rapidly evolving environment..
