Motion Designer

At Benjamin, we're passionate about rewarding everyday actions through our MoMo’s (Money Moments). Benjamin is a new cash-rewards platform for consumers, merchants and gamers to earn cash, called Benjamin Money Moments, by completing daily tasks, playing casual games, viewing content and ads, and making everyday card purchases with cash back.

What you’ll do:

• Create High-Impact Motion Graphic Content: Conceptualize and produce high-quality motion graphic videos, including product explainers, promotional assets, and in-app animations that celebrate user rewards.
• Enhance UGC Content: Edit user-generated content (UGC) by integrating motion graphic elements, text overlays, and dynamic effects to produce polished, on-brand social media assets.
• Build a Motion Asset Library: Develop a library of reusable animations, transitions, and motion elements that other team members (marketing, product, and design) can leverage in their own work.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with AI artists, creative strategists, to create impactful advertisements. As well as product designers and micro-interactions and animated UI elements that enhance the user experience within the app (lottie animations/remotion).
• Leverage AI for Efficiency andScale: Utilize AI tools to quickly generate assets, textures, or visual elements to streamline the creative process without compromising quality.

What we’re looking for:

• Motion + Graphic Design Mastery: Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro) and Figma.
• Animation Expertise: Strong knowledge of both 2D and 3D animation principles, with a portfolio that demonstrates a mastery of timing, weight, and visual storytelling in both dimensions.
• Design Sensibility: A keen eye for design - mastery of typography, composition, color theory, and a strong sense of visual hierarchy.
• AI Proficiency: Comfortable using AI tools (such as Kling, Nano Banana, Sora, Remotion, etc.) to generate elements and assets quickly and accurately to accelerate production.
• Versatile Skillset: Experience in both motion graphic creation and video editing, with the ability to seamlessly blend graphic elements into live-action footage.

Ideal candidate has: 

• 3+ years of experience in motion design, preferably within a fast-paced startup, gaming, or consumer tech environment.
  Demonstrable experience with using AI processes for scale and automation.
• A portfolio that showcases a range of work, from polished marketing videos to subtle UI animations.
• Experience creating assets for mobile-first platforms.
