Job Description Summary:

Role Summary

The Senior Director I, Global Workplace Optimization & Transformation, provides direct support to the VP of Global Workplace Services & Operations in identifying, prioritizing and driving the highest-impact optimization and transformation opportunities across several areas, including Real Estate, Workplace Operations, Travel & Expense, and Meetings & Events, covering a scope of over ~$200M OPEX portfolio and $100M CAPEX.

This leader will support the VP in building a unified operating model across all areas in the hub, driving alignment, consistency, and standardization. The role will shape and lead an integrated optimization roadmap focused on improving efficiency, reducing cost, and strengthening processes. The role is initially an individual contributor, but may require people leadership responsibilities as the operating model evolves.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the overall leader for process optimization efforts across Real Estate, Workplace Operations, Travel & Expense, and Meetings & Events, directly supporting the VP of Global Workplace Services & Operations and partnering closely with operational leaders of these areas.

• Provide direct support to the VP in forming the business plan and long-term strategic plan for the hub, as well as monitoring the execution and progress to meet the plan.

• Lead diagnostic assessments to identify inefficiencies in workflows, systems, vendor usage, governance, and spend.

• Drive large-scale process redesign initiatives using structured processes & methodologies.

• Support build necessary performance evaluation dashboards and tracking tools to monitor execution, budget status, KPIs, and value delivery.

• Lead cross-functional project teams to implement new processes, systems, and policies that improve performance.

• Drive alignment with other ES hubs and Corporate functions, including ES Strategy & Operations, Finance, HR, Procurement, DTS, and others.

• Support governance and policy updates to embed optimized practices across the organization.

• Build a culture of continuous improvement across Workplace Services & Operations.

• Champion technology adoption and automation opportunities to reduce manual work and enhance service delivery.

• Oversee change management plans to ensure successful adoption of new processes and tools.

• Prepare executive-ready materials clearly communicating performance, risks, savings, and progress to senior leadership.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Economics or related field (advanced degree preferred).

• +10 years of experience with strong background in process optimization, structured problem solving and transformation across large, complex enterprises.

• Strong analytical capabilities. Ability to understand financial impacts, model & evaluate savings scenarios, and drive insights from large data sets.

• Experience in performance evaluation, including managing and interpreting diverse performance metrics.

• Proven ability to work through white space, ambiguity, and evolving requirements.

• Experience influencing and working with senior stakeholders, including VP-level leaders.

• People leadership experience required. The role will lead cross-functional teams and may potentially lead direct reports as the operation evolves.

Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.
