The opportunity:

The Technical Director will serve as the strategic technical lead for high-scale enterprise accounts. You will be responsible for bridging the gap between business ambitions (omnichannel growth, 3x scaling) and technical execution. This role requires a balance of hands-on architecture, rigorous performance engineering, and stakeholder management.

What you’ll be doing:

Platform & Architecture Leadership
The Technical Delivery Director will own the technical health and scalability of the platform, driving architectural improvements to support high concurrency environments (~100TPS), complex integrations, and frequent releases. They will lead root cause analysis of production issues and ensure long-term remediation, with a strong focus on performance, stability, and release quality in high-traffic environments. The role also requires establishing a culture of rigorous problem-solving and leading the creation of audit-ready root cause analyses (RCAs) that include deep-dive data, clear timelines, and actionable long-term fixes to prevent recurrence.

Delivery & Process Excellence
This role is responsible for strengthening delivery discipline across engineering, QA, product & support teams by identifying systemic risks and improving release processes, regression control, sprint predictability, and dependency management. The Technical Delivery Director will work closely with Scrum Masters and Business Analysts to ensure planning is outcome-driven and aligned with client KPIs.

Cross-Workstream Coordination
The Technical Delivery Director will oversee coordination across multiple workstreams, including engineering, production support, monitoring, data and reporting, UI/UX, and integration teams. The role requires ensuring these teams operate with clear ownership, aligned priorities, and strong communication, particularly during releases, campaigns, and incident situations, while establishing effective operational rhythms such as platform health reviews and release readiness checkpoints.

Stakeholder & Client Leadership
A critical part of the role is stakeholder leadership. The Technical Delivery Director will serve as the senior technical counterpart to client stakeholders and lead the client on technical strategy rather than waiting for client-driven directions. As part of this, the Technical Director will need to translate complex technical issues into clear business impacts, leading incident response and war-room coordination, and providing structured executive updates to maintain client confidence.
