Cloud Platform Engineer needed to design, build and maintain our cloud infrastructure and platform services on Google Cloud Platform, with a strong focus on event-driven architectures.

What you’ll get to do:

You will leverage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform, design and manage our event-driven API gateway using Apigee X, and ensure robust observability with New Relic. This role involves enhancing platform reliability, scalability, and performance for critical, real-time event-driven systems.

What you should have:

Proven experience as a Cloud Platform Engineer or DevOps Engineer.
Extensive experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and architecture.
Strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
Hands-on experience designing, implementing, and managing event-driven architectures.
Proficiency with Apigee X for API management, specifically in developing and securing event-driven API ecosystems.
Expertise in setting up and managing monitoring, alerting, and observability tools, particularly New Relic, for complex distributed systems.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation best practices for cloud deployments.
Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes in event-driven contexts.
Ability to troubleshoot complex platform issues and optimize cloud resource utilization.
