The Role in Context

Fingerprint is scaling rapidly, and our infrastructure is the bedrock of our 25B+ annual request volume. We are looking for a Manager of Cloud Platform Engineering to lead a team of 6 elite engineers.

In this role, you aren’t just keeping the lights on—you are the architect of our scalability, the guardian of our hosting efficiency, and the primary bridge between Engineering and Finance. You will have high autonomy to define what "best-in-class" infrastructure looks like for a high-growth SaaS leader.

Your Mission

Lead & Elevate: Direct a team of 6 Cloud Engineers. You will foster a culture of high ownership, technical excellence, and "Infrastructure as Code" (IaC) first.
Scale the Platform: Oversee the evolution of our AWS EKS clusters, ensuring they remain resilient, performant, and secure under massive load.
Strategic FinOps: Partner directly with the Finance team to manage hosting costs. You will be responsible for cost-visibility, and driving a "cost-conscious" engineering culture.
