Job Summary:

The Business Architecture & Programme Lead is responsible for shaping and delivering the future‑state Operations architecture across LBUs, while driving large‑scale transformation through strong programme management, change leadership, and execution of the Ops AI strategy. This role partners closely with Group, GTO and LBU teams to ensure end‑to‑end alignment from strategy to delivery, with clear benefits realisation and sustainable change.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Architecture

  • Map and define the future‑state business architecture for Operations value streams across LBUs.
  • Design the end‑state operating model for LBUs, ensuring clarity on value streams, capabilities, and hand‑offs.
  • Partner with stakeholders to align architecture decisions with business strategy, transformation priorities, and ways of working.

Programme Management & Governance

  • Lead end‑to‑end programme management, including delivery management, financial oversight, risk management, and dependency tracking.
  • Own benefits realisation, ensuring transformation outcomes are measurable and realised.
  • Establish and manage programme governance, including testing centralisation and utilisation of Central Operations VCC resources.
  • Provide clear, structured reporting and decision support to senior stakeholders.

Change Management & Transformation Enablement

  • Support enterprise‑wide change by working across all Operations value streams to embed new structures, ways of working, and governance.
  • Enable business transformation and Show & tell (S&T) initiatives at both Group and LBU levels.
  • Drive adoption of new operating models, ensuring change is practical, scalable, and embedded into BAU.

Ops AI Programme and Change Management

  • Support execution of Operations AI roadmap, continuing and operationalising the AI roadmap operationalising the Pru AI Strategy.
  • Translate AI strategy into executable initiatives across Operations value streams.
  • Ensure AI initiatives are aligned with business priorities, change readiness, and delivery capability.

Operations Transformation & Integration between Group and Markets

  • Collaborate with market‑level teams to drive operations transformation, working closely with Transformation Office, Tech & Ops market teams
  • Drive the integration of market Operations under the Octopus framework, ensuring consistency, scalability, and value realisation.
  • Act as a key interface between Group and LBUs to ensure alignment and smooth execution across Operations and Transformation functions.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Insurance, Risk Management, or a related field;
  • Insurance experience and background is a plus
  • Digital Transformation background and experience driving multi market change is essential

Experience:

  • Strong experience in business architecture, operating model design, or large‑scale operations transformation.
  • Proven track record in programme management for complex, multi‑stakeholder initiatives.
  • Solid understanding of change management and embedding new ways of working.
  • Experience executing AI or digital transformation roadmaps within Operations or enterprise environments.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills across Group and LBU contexts.
  • Ability to translate strategy into structured, executable programmes with measurable outcomes.
