As an experienced Federal Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for negotiating, memorializing and administering FAR Part 12 commercial item engagements of varying complexity. You will review, analyze, and negotiate sales agreements with some of Dell’s largest Federal customers in the U.S. and Dell’s network of resellers. Deals will involve public sector terms and conditions and procurement rules, intellectual property, resellers, and commercial contract law.
You will:
Interact effectively with senior management as both an advisor and business leader
Lead negotiations for the sale of information technology products (such as computers, servers, storage, cloud and software) and services (such as managed and professional services)
Work with Government business practices, intellectual property, resellers, leasing companies, and commercial contract law
Collaborate with sales, operations, finance, legal, tax, and services to ensure that agreements adequately protect Dell’s interests
Review and provides input on terms and conditions contained in RFx documents
Draft and review government contracting forms, documents and agreements (RFPs, CRADA’s OTAs, partner agreements, teaming agreements, subcontract agreements, etc.)
Work closely with segment legal counsel to ensure compliance with the FAR, DFARS and other applicable regulations

Essential Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Contract Administration, Finance, Business or related field with 12+ years relevant experience; or equivalent relevant experience
8+ years directly related experience negotiating, drafting, and administering government contracts, preferably in the Information Technology sector
Extensive knowledge of the FAR, DFARS and commercial item contracting regulations, procedures and practices
Superior knowledge and experience with negotiating, analyzing, drafting and administering government contracting forms, documents and agreements
Contracts Management certification highly desirable (CFCM, CPCM)
Desirable Requirements
Ability to obtain and maintain a high-level U.S. Government security clearance and experience working and operating in a global company
Knowledge of, and experience with, compliance related provisions such as the International Traffic in Arms Regulations, Export Administration Regulations, and organizational conflicts of interest regulations and knowledge of business principles and Federal procurement and acquisition law
Compensation
Dell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this position is $159,800 - $206,800
