As a Material Planner, you'll be dedicated to ensuring on-time delivery from the launch to the customer. You’ll play a key role in our manufacturing plan, coordinating and expediting the flow of materials. Planning and scheduling according to production needs, you'll use in-depth knowledge of concepts, methods and procedures.
As a Material Planner, you will be responsible for:
- Working with the sales and operations team to convert the demand plans into physical orders.
- Analyzing incoming demand: identifies order exceptions, misalignment with product rationalization strategy and opportunities to utilize existing inventory
- Understanding business trends, opportunities and how they impact the demand forecast.
- Planning and scheduling order timelines to be consistent with customer requirements while minimizing inventory and shipping costs
- Coordinating with Product Line, Sales, and Service Delivery to prioritize delivery dates.
- Performing material management analyses and implementing inventory stocking strategies.
- Monitoring levels of safety stock, global and aging inventory and works with regions and manufacturing plants to address accordingly
- Working with the AMO organization to ensure spare parts and asset demands are captured
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have an Associates' Degree in Supply Chain or equivalent experience (2+ yr’ experience)
- Bring experience in order management, inventory optimization, and asset utilization.
- Understand foundational Oracle and MRP functionality.
- Work effectively with stakeholders and influence cross‑functional decisions.
- Execute tasks with tactical focus and urgency.
- Demonstrate professional characteristics and industry knowledge.
- Able to read, write and speak fluently in English
