In this role, you will work on cutting-edge IIoT connectivity, edge computing, and AI-driven network management. Your Impact

This is a key role within Cisco’s IIoT team. You will be responsible for system and solution testing for industrial networking products, focusing on end-to-end reliability and performance. You will drive innovation by integrating advanced AI tools into our testing and deployment pipelines to enhance efficiency. You will be responsible for designing and executing complex network automation workflows, ensuring our industrial solutions meet the highest standards of scale and reliability. You will collaborate closely with Engineering, Product Management, and AI research teams to solve complex customer challenges in the industrial space.

Minimum Qualifications

• 5-8 years of proven experience in networking, system testing, and industrial automation.
• Demonstrated experience in leveraging AI/ML tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or custom LLM-based agents) for code generation, test script development, debugging, and predictive network analysis.
• Strong proficiency in Python and advanced test automation frameworks.
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, Layer 2/3 switching and routing, and industrial protocols (e.g., Modbus, PROFINET, OPC-UA).
• Experience with network programmability: YANG models, NETCONF, RESTCONF, and gNMI.
• Experience with traffic generation and simulation tools (e.g., Ixia, Spirent, or open-source alternatives).
• Proven track record in debugging complex system issues and analyzing customer deployment scenarios.
• Masters/B.E/B.Tech in ECE/CS or equivalent with 6+ years of related experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven experience in end-to-end platform bring-up and hardware/software qualification.
• Experience with IIoT edge platforms and cloud integration (e.g., Cisco IoT Operations Dashboard, AWS IoT, or Azure IoT).
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of industrial security standards and network segmentation.
• Experience working in Agile development environments and contributing to product architecture.
