Meet the Team

The Cisco Devices Product Design team is a forward-thinking group dedicated to defining the next generation of human-computer interaction. Your Impact

Lead the design of AI-native experiences across Cisco’s Devices portfolio to ensure every interaction is purposeful, trustworthy, and useful. Define behavioral guardrails and interaction models to transform sophisticated AI capabilities—such as LLMs and agentic workflows—into seamless, shippable user experiences. Prototype future-state visions to translate abstract AI strategy into measurable, high-impact product roadmaps. Build a robust AX practice by creating shared frameworks and toolkits that enable consistent design decisions across the organization. Empower internal teams by designing AI-powered tools that reduce friction and improve efficiency across design, engineering, and product workflows.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in UX, HCI, Interaction Design, Cognitive Science, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in design across complex product domains.
  • Consistent track record of designing and shipping intelligent experiences and (AI-powered) systems.
  • Showed strength in Figma and industry-standard prototyping tools.
  • Deep knowledge of LLMs, multimodal systems, and agentic frameworks.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in human-technology-interaction design, conversational design, voice UX, or non-screen interaction design.
  • Experience working within enterprise or B2B environments where trust, reliability, and compliance are critical.
  • Proven ability to drive alignment across engineering, product, and business collaborators in ambiguous, fast-moving contexts and new AI-opportunities.
  • Experience establishing new design and AI practices, tools and influence subject areas within a large organization.
  • Familiarity with hardware/device ecosystems and their outstanding AI interaction constraints.
