About the opportunity

In this role, support QIAGEN’s logistics operations by ensuring customer orders are picked, packed, and shipped accurately and on time. Daily contributions directly support the supply chain through the handling of temperature‑sensitive materials and outbound shipping activities in a regulated environment. This position is based on site in Frederick, Maryland and plays a key role in keeping logistics operations running smoothly. The working hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6:30pm. Shift differential is included.

Your tasks include

  • Pick, pack, and ship customer orders according to defined shipping schedules and procedures
  • Retrieve materials from controlled temperature environments (‑20°C and 5°C) for short periods of time
  • Process shipments and execute transactions using SAP
  • Prepare and complete shipping documentation for international shipments
  • Use a manual pallet jack and assist with loading trucks at the end of the day
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well‑stocked shipping area
  • Support additional logistics‑related tasks as assigned

Your profile

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for 6–7 hours per shift
  • Comfort working in a ‑20°C environment for short periods of time
  • Hands‑on experience handling dry ice
  • Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Experience with Excel and SAP preferred but not required
  • Reliable, safety‑conscious approach and comfort following standardized procedures

The estimated base salary range for this position is $40,000-$42,000. Compensation will be based on the candidate’s experience, skills, geographic location, and other job‑related factors. In addition to base salary, we offer a total compensation package that includes a commission plan, annual bonus, and generous benefits.
