Job Title

Senior Project Manager

Job Description Summary

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for the end‑to‑end delivery of real estate development and fit‑out projects, including early technical advisory and Technical Due Diligence through completion and handover. The role represents the client throughout the project lifecycle and applies technical expertise and commercial judgement to manage scope, cost, programme, quality and risk.

Job Description

As a Senior Project Manager, you will take end‑to‑end responsibility for complex real estate development and fit‑out projects from early feasibility and technical advisory through delivery and handover.

You will act as a senior, trusted advisor to occupiers, investors, and landlords, combining deep technical competence with commercial judgement and a pragmatic understanding of the Swedish real estate and construction market. You will be given a clear mandate, autonomy, and visibility - internally and externally - and are expected to take ownership, challenge assumptions, and drive decisions.

This role is suited to an established project leader who wants to shape both projects and a growing service offering, while remaining hands‑on where it matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take full project leadership across development, refurbishment and fit‑out projects, with accountability for scope, cost, programme, quality and risk

  • Act as the client’s independent representative throughout the entire project lifecycle, from early technical and commercial advice to completion

  • Lead procurement strategies and manage consultants and contractors in line with Swedish regulations and market practice

  • Conduct and lead Technical Due Diligence (TDD) assignments, identifying risks, cost, constructability, opportunities and value‑creation measures

  • Actively challenge briefs, budgets and solutions to safeguard client interests and long‑term asset performance

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, contributing directly to repeat business and new opportunities

  • Support the development of the PDS offering in Sweden, including methodologies, market positioning and business development

  • Mentor and support junior colleagues, setting a high professional standard through leadership and example

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or equivalent

  • Typically 5+ years’ experience leading real estate or construction projects in Sweden

  • Proven experience working with occupiers, investors and/or landlords

  • Strong knowledge of Swedish building regulations, procurement and construction standards

  • Comfortable operating independently with senior stakeholders and decision‑makers

  • Fluent in Swedish and very good in English

Why join us?

  • A senior, hands‑on role where your technical experience and judgement matter

  • Clear responsibility for projects, clients and outcomes, with freedom to act and challenge when needed

  • The ability to influence projects from early technical assessment and commercial advice through controlled delivery and handover

  • A growing PDS team with momentum in the Swedish market, where you help set standards rather than inherit them

  • A pragmatic, professional culture focused on doing the right thing for the asset, the client and the long term

  • Opportunity to work with international clients and access world-class global expertise
