Glovo's Quick-commerce Retail business is experiencing exceptional growth. Remarkably, this high-growth trajectory has occurred on the back of technology built for food/groceries and lacking systems and features to handle the inherent complexities of a retail/e-commerce operation. We are eager to tap into the massive potential that will be unlocked once we develop our systems tailored for Retail.

This is where you come in: your mission will be to deliver the best of the E-commerce experience, seamlessly merged with our core strength—Q-commerce. If you are excited by the challenge of radically changing the way people shop, enabling customers to receive products like their next iPhone, hair serum, or paracetamol within 30 minutes, then we encourage you to read on.

The WHAT of your role

You will be responsible to re-think the experience across the entire customer funnel - from user awareness to product discovery to conversion to making users our loyal customers. With this, you will transform Glovo app from being a Food/Groceries app to a truly multi-category superapp. 

Today, when people think of ordering food, the first name that comes to their mind is Glovo. Tomorrow, when they want to order anything, the first thing that will come to their mind is Glovo - and you will be the force behind this. Your day to day to will involve:

  • Problem Solving: Utilize strong problem-solving skills to navigate challenges and devise effective solutions that drive product success.
  • Critical Thinking: Apply critical thinking to assess complex situations, make informed decisions, and prioritize initiatives that maximize impact.
  • Product Strategy: Define and drive the product vision and roadmap for our Quick-commerce offerings, aligning with overall business goals.
  • Customer Insights: Conduct market research and gather customer feedback to identify pain points and opportunities for improvement.
  • Feature Development: Lead the development of new product features, ensuring they enhance our core value propositions. Champion exceptional user experiences throughout the pre- and post-purchase journey, building customer trust and loyalty.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate effectively with business stakeholders to align on priorities, gather insights, and ensure successful product delivery.
