Job Description

This role is a remote opportunity only for those on the East Coast or in EDT.

Role Summary

The Program Management Senior Advisor is a leader responsible for driving complex, enterprise-wide Finance transformation programs while also serving as the operational and strategic partner to Finance Data & AI leadership. This role integrates program leadership, governance, organizational alignment, executive support, and change management to accelerate Finance’s evolution into a data-driven, AI-enabled organization.

By uniting strategic program leadership, governance rigor, change management expertise, and executive partnership, this role ensures the Finance Data & AI organization executes its most critical priorities with clarity, speed, and long-term impact, enabling Finance to operate as a modern, intelligent, and fully data‑driven function.

Key Responsibilities

1. Program Leadership & Transformation Delivery

  • Lead large-scale, multi-year programs across Finance Data & AI, integrating data modernization, AI-enabled capabilities, and Finance process transformation.

  • Build and manage end‑to‑end program structures, roadmaps, milestones, risk frameworks, and success metrics.

  • Ensure programs deliver measurable outcomes aligned with Finance’s strategic goals, regulatory needs, and modernization agenda.

  • Facilitate strategic planning, aligning resources, roadmaps, and decision-making across the program.

2. Governance, Controls & Execution Excellence

  • Uphold disciplined governance routines, including portfolio health checks, risk/dependency tracking, and integrated reporting.

  • Ensure all workstreams adhere to standards for quality, timing, scope, budget, and compliance.

  • Align with Finance PMO, Finance Data Office, Technology, and Enterprise Transformation partners to drive consistency in delivery practices.

3. Strategic Leadership, Operating Rhythm & Executive Support

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to Finance Data & AI leadership, helping set strategic priorities, facilitate decision‑making, and resolve cross‑functional issues.

  • Own and manage the operating cadence for the organization (leadership meetings, business planning sessions QBRs, portfolio reviews, strategy sessions).

  • Craft senior leadership communications, presentations, dashboards, and strategic narratives that distill complex program and data/AI topics into actionable insights.

  • Monitor organizational priorities, anticipate emerging issues, and ensure leadership has visibility into risks, decisions, and resource needs.

4. Change Management & Organizational Readiness

  • Partner with the FDIO Change Management lead on the development and execution of change management strategies supporting Finance’s transformation efforts, including readiness assessments, impact analyses, and adoption roadmaps.

  • Drive clear, targeted communications to articulate the purpose, impact, and benefits of process, data, and AI changes across Finance.

  • Partner with transformation, training, and data/AI teams to ensure successful adoption of new tools, processes, and operating models.

  • Establish feedback loops, adoption KPIs, and reporting to measure change effectiveness and inform adjustments.

5. Executive Level Communication, Cross-Functional Collaboration & Team Leadership

  • Promote a culture of transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement.

  • Ensure strong alignment across Finance, Technology, Data Office, HR Finance, and other enterprise partners to support integrated execution.

  • Lead a team of program managers across the U.S. and global delivery centers.

6. Stakeholder Engagement & Communication

  • Develop and refine executive-ready presentations, briefings, business cases, dashboards, and strategic communications for internal and external audiences.

  • Serve as the central storytelling lead, ensuring clarity and alignment in messaging around program outcomes, investments, risks, and transformation progress.

  • Develop and deliver targeted change communications that clarify the purpose, impact, and expectations of upcoming changes.

  • Ensure messaging is consistent, timely, and tailored to different levels and roles across global Finance teams.

  • Facilitate stakeholder alignment sessions, workshops, and briefings to reinforce readiness and adoption.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years' experience in program management, transformation, governance, or organizational leadership within Finance, Data, or Technology.

  • Background in Finance operations, AI/ML enablement, data modernization, or digital transformation.

  • Experience in regulated industries such as healthcare, insurance, or financial services.

  • Demonstrated experience as a strategic partner, senior advisor, or operations partner.

  • Proven success leading complex, enterprise-wide programs with multiple interdependent workstreams.

  • Strong communication, executive storytelling, and stakeholder engagement skills.

  • Experience with change management and organizational readiness practices.

  • Ability to travel 10-15% (~ 1x/quarter)
