The Production Planner is responsible for translating customer demand and forecast requirements into executable production plans that align with material availability and manufacturing capacity. This role focuses on mid- to long-term planning, capacity alignment, and cross-functional coordination to support efficient manufacturing operations and on-time delivery, leveraging ERP tools to drive data-based decisions.

Please note: This position requires 100% in-office presence at our Jacksonville offices and does not offer remote work.

Key Responsibilities

Production Planning & Coordination

  • Develop and maintain production plans based on customer demand, forecast data, material readiness, and manufacturing capacity.
  • Review customer orders and demand signals to validate production requirements and alignment with established lead times.
  • Collaborate with Production, Fabrication, and Engineering teams to ensure production plans are feasible and aligned with available resources.
  • Partner with stakeholders to support resolution of demand changes, material constraints, or capacity limitations.
  • Utilize ERP systems (INFOR preferred) to analyze demand, plan production requirements, and support manufacturing execution.

Capacity & Material Planning

  • Analyze labor, equipment, and material capacity to identify constraints and support informed production planning decisions.
  • Work closely with Supply Chain and Materials Planning to ensure material strategies support production plans.
