Roku is changing how the world watches TV
Roku is the #1 TV streaming platform in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico, and we've set our sights on powering every television in the world. Roku pioneered streaming to the TV. Our mission is to be the TV streaming platform that connects the entire TV ecosystem. We connect consumers to the content they love, enable content publishers to build and monetize large audiences, and provide advertisers unique capabilities to engage consumers.
From your first day at Roku, you'll make a valuable - and valued - contribution. We're a fast-growing public company where no one is a bystander. We offer you the opportunity to delight millions of TV streamers around the world while gaining meaningful experience across a variety of disciplines.
About the Team
Roku’s Viewer Platform builds the consumer AI/ML intelligence behind Discovery, Search, and other UIs, and partners with cross-functional teams to ship consumer features that move the needle on Engagement and Monetization KPIs. Our systems shape how 100M+ viewers find and enjoy entertainment. As Roku accelerates investment in generative AI, personalization, and deep user understanding, Viewer Platform sits at the center—connecting data, intelligence, and UX into a cohesive ecosystem we call the Viewer Brain.
About the Role
We’re looking for a Senior Program Manager to lead two strategic pillars within the Viewer Platform Organization:
Viewer Brain Program Leadership – You will orchestrate the company-wide initiative to unify Roku’s AI/ML-powered products and technology stacks. This includes aligning multiple product, design, and engineering teams, establishing shared milestones, and ensuring technical and strategic coherence across personalization, Search, Voice, and content understanding systems.
Process Excellence & Product Operations Enablement – You’ll drive operational rigor across Viewer Platform product areas — developing more innovative tools, templates, and rhythms for planning, roadmapping, and delivery. You’ll help Product Leaders scale efficiently, measure success consistently, and improve cross-functional velocity for significant, high-impact feature launches.
This role is ideal for a strategic, execution-driven leader who thrives in complex, high-growth environments and enjoys shaping systems that connect product, technology, and operations at scale. This is also a highly in-demand role as AI/ML are core pillars of the future of software development, not just at Roku but across the world.
For California Only - The estimated annual salary for this position is between $187,000 - $318,000 annually. Compensation packages are based on factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, certifications, and specific geographical location. This role is eligible for health insurance, equity awards, life insurance, disability benefits, parental leave, wellness benefits, and paid time off.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Lead the Viewer Brain program — Align Search, Recommendations, Voice, Experimentation, Knowledge Graph, Tooling, and Content Understanding to a single platform vision with shared milestones and guardrails
- Operationalize Strategic Initiatives — Stand up cross-functional (XFN) workstreams; own OKRs, dependency maps, and exec-ready status

- Forecast Capacity Early — Track expected resource utilization ahead of each quarter and flag gaps across Eng, XFN PMs, Business areas, UX, Analytics, and International
- Manage Dependencies — Track and unblock cross-team dependencies for high-value initiatives; escalate decisively when needed
- Manage High-Impact Analytics Backlog — Help analytics prioritize work that is deeply insightful and highlights trends beyond general AB testing (e.g., long-term holdouts, industry benchmarks)
