Job Description

JOB TITLE: Key Account Manager – Transport (Scotland)

LOCATION(S): Scotland (field-based)

HOURS: Full-time

WORKING PATTERN: This is a Field Based role. Colleagues with disabilities can be supported with workplace adjustments in line with our Flexibility Works policy.

What you’ll be doing

This is an opportunity to play a key role in the UK’s transition to Net Zero, supporting consumers and businesses to finance and lease electric vehicles through Lloyds Banking Group and our intermediaries. Working across our Black Horse and Lex Autolease brands, you’ll help move us beyond traditional finance and leasing as we continue to build market leadership in UK Transport.

As a Field Account Manager, you’ll be the main point of contact for a portfolio of independent group customers across the Leisure, Motor and Motorbike sectors. You’ll build trusted, long‑lasting partnerships, driving value through new and used vehicle sales, retention and the promotion of our consumer lending products including PCP, HP and Contract Hire.

Day to day, you’ll own and develop your customer relationships end to end. You’ll deliver regular Business Performance Reviews, analyse key performance indicators and customer trends, and translate insight into clear, robust action plans. You’ll take responsibility for customer complaints, ensuring they’re managed professionally and brought to a fair conclusion for all parties.

You’ll also play an important role in shaping growth. This includes contributing to sales strategies, implementing digital and strategic initiatives, and working closely with the Groups Team, Distribution Channels and wider Lloyds Banking Group colleagues to deliver shared objectives.

Alongside this, you’ll train and mentor dealer staff to build confidence in our products and services, lead on regulatory, conduct and business risk responsibilities, and ensure Treating Customers Fairly principles are applied consistently. You’ll also oversee wholesale funding facilities with dealer partners, ensuring appropriate utilisation, governance and alignment to credit appetite and risk frameworks.

Why join us?

  • Proven experience delivering commercial performance reviews, using KPIs, trend analysis and action planning to drive growth and retention.

  • Experience building and managing relationships with stakeholders at multiple levels, including senior decision‑makers within partner organisations.

  • Strong communication experience, including delivering formal presentations, training or performance updates to external partners or customers.

Desirable

  • Experience within the automotive, leisure, motorbike or asset finance sectors.
